Malgorzata DudekQuickly moving up in the fashion world, Malgorzata Dudek's exquisite creations can be found in the wardrobes of actresses, musicians and women of fine taste around the world.  Adding distinction to her CV, fashionista Rachel Bilson was stylized in Malgorzata's dresses for an exclusive magazine photo shoot.

Fashion design and sewing have always been a part of Malgorzata's life. Her mother's wedding dress and trench coats became victims of playtime visions for her Liza doll (knockoff of Barbie). Later on, she modified clothes which her family received from West Germany. These clothes were sewn in colours and from materials which were not readily available in Poland, and had a profound influence on the young designer. During her childhood, she looked up to a local designer, Edyta Dabrowska, who wore colourful avant garde costumes and organized happenings in her village. Though Edyta was thought of as being crazy by the locals, young Malgorzata was intrigued by her style and she loved her designs. Inspired by a happening outside the village church where Edyta dressed up mannequins to shock the locals, young Gosia interpreted the event in front of her classmates by creating a crowd of stylized (in German fabrics) Marzanna effigies, burning them, and finally drowning them in the stream behind her house.

In high school, she enrolled in a design and textile course, which gave her a solid foundation in design, pattern making, sewing and textile knowledge. She designed several collections while in school and had her first fashion show at age 17, “Spring in NATO”. This collection won second place in the National Institute for Fashion in Lodz contest for High Schools. For several years after graduating, she designed clothes for a group of steady clients. However, she dreamed of something bigger, and thus formed the brand BiancanevE, a line of wedding and bridesmaid dresses. The brand prospered and was even featured as an award on the hit tv game show, “Ready to Wed”, which aired on prime time TV.

After designing wedding and bridesmaid dresses commercially for 5 years, Malgorzata started her own couture line of evening gowns, under the brand Malgorzata Dudek. She launched her first collection at Gala Moda&Styl in December 2008. The collection won the praise of the audience and the hearts of the jury, and walked away with the award for the best evening gown collection. Her second collection of couture gowns, entitled "Summer in Mum's Garden", won the 2009 Moda&Styl award and caused a stir with it's bright colours and interesting cuts. It was this collection that gained Małgorzata international recognition. The exclusive fashion magazine 160grams featured an editorial with two of Malgorzata's creations, while the NYC based W25  featured an editorial, in which Malgorzata's red tomato dress was featured (page 38,39).

At home, Malgorzata designed the costumes worn by Polish vocalist, Justyna Steczkowska for her music video "Prosze Cie - Sklam" .  Malgorzata Dudek has also designed dresses for Aga Zaryan, Jolanta Fajkowska, Justyna Sienczyllo, Agnieszka Krukowna, Dorota Gardias-Skóra, Agnieszka Popielewicz, opera singers Justyna Reczeniedi and Aleksandra Chacinska and Eurovision contestant Lidia Kopania. Actress Julia Kaminska, who lost out in the Best Find of 2009 category at the Victory Awards (Polish Oscars), was a winner on the red carpet dressed in Malgorzata Dudek.
